Go to Post Put on shows. Start new teams, FRC, FVC, or FLL. It doesn't matter. But I know that being on the robotics team has given me some of the best memories of my life, and I wouldn't want anybody else to miss out on that. - irishninja [more]

Re: Finding Orbit Balls In Canada

No luck for us, either. One of the parents on the team even volunteered to pop across the border to Niagara Falls, NY to check the Wal-Marts and Targets there, but found nothing.

Re: Finding Orbit Balls In Canada

I'm going to make some phone calls in the morning to my old employer and see if he can dig up a supplier for them.

Has anyone heard or seen anything to indicate that these were ever sold in Canada?

By the way, our's broke after just a few hours of "studying" it.

Re: Finding Orbit Balls In Canada

Yup, looks like these balls, which are a) difficult to find to begin with, being that the manufacturer discontinued them, b) relatively fragile for a FRC game piece, and c) not particularly cheap are pretty much impossible to get in Canada for the time being, at least till Karen and the folks at FIRST Robotics Canada come through with this mystery supplier, since even the American teams are having large difficulties getting a significant number of them.

Re: Finding Orbit Balls In Canada

We have similar problems in the UK. John Lewis, Toys R Us, Hammleys... none of the staff I showed the picture to has ever seen one. At least we know to protect the one in the kit, whenever the kits show up.

Re: Finding Orbit Balls In Canada

Try going to the blip toys website and inquiring about an order.
