Attaching the Trailer

I was wonder what attaches the trailer to the robot, I have not seen the kit of parts so I was wondering if anything was included to attach the trailer to the robot, like a trailer hitch or something to the effect, in the kit of parts?

You will find technical drawings of the playing field, components and trailer (including the tongue) at http://www.usfirst.org/community/frc....aspx?id=11624

Re: Attaching the Trailer

Thank you so much

For anyone who reads the thread, the KoP does come with material to attach the trailer to the robot, it just requires some work to make, look at the images in the above post and it includes a image about creating the trailer hitch

Re: Attaching the Trailer

The frc website appears to be broken atm ... could somebody that has already downloaded the info please tell me how long the "hitch" swing-arm is.

I know that it comes out from one of the points of a 28" hexagon (side-to-side), but until the FRC.org website comes back, I'm guessing it's a 10" lever arm.

Am I close?

Re: Attaching the Trailer

His link was broke, but I was able to get my info via the main frc page and navigating it on my own. Thx.

(PS: My 10" guess is pretty close)
