Exclamation Special grappling hooks for throwers?

I would like to thank the blue alliance group for their informitive video about the arena floor at NewHampshire. It is thanks to their detailed video that i was able to find out that...
1) The way they sealed each section of "rigolith" was with clear masking tape
2) Their is grappling tools for human operators to reach and get balls from under neath the corner fences

Can someone please verify that these details are accurate and will be used>
Please and Thankyou.

Re: Special grappling hooks for throwers?

The grabbers are definitely going to be used in competition. There are penalties for human players who pick up balls from the loading dock without using them.
I can't clarify on the tape though.

Re: Special grappling hooks for throwers?

Each section of the floor was definitely taped to the next section. Probably not clear masking tape, more like white gaffer's tape, or a white version of the tape they have used in prior years on the floor.

Definitely taped from what I saw walking across the field in NH
