Yeh, AFAIK when we looked up the specs for the bar, it was 2 2x6 pieces of lumber with a 3/8 inch piece of plywood sandwitched in between. Making the overall width 6 inches and the total hight 4 3/8 inches. At least that's what the manual we had said.
