Re: Problems with the Axis Camera
I seem to be able to use the camera (get onto the homepage through the installation software and see the live view) when it is at the IP address 192.168.1.90 and is connected through the router but as soon as I connect it to the computer, this all goes away. And I am still not able to use the camera setup from labview. My computer is at 192.168.1.1, is this a problem? Any help will be appreciated
UPDATE: I think that I have gotten it to work, but this is on a different computer then I was using earlier, so I will have to try more tomorrow. I didn't use the program that came with the cameram, I went to the page on my browser that got me to the home page of the camera. I then went to the setup tab (top of the window) and went in there. In one of the left side tabs, Basic Settings or something like that there is a sub-category of TCP/IP and I went into that and changed the IP address to the right one. I also deleted the 3rd one down, like default router. This seemed to work, as I went to the new IP address in my browser. Then I went to the Set up Axis Camera, and SUCCESS!! Re: Problems with the Axis Camera
I tried reseting and nothing happened.
I too can use the camera through a browser typing the IP, only the setup program that came with labview doesn't work. I did everything in the "CONTROL SYSTEM CONFIGURATION" pdf, triple checked, and nothing. |

Re: Problems with the Axis Camera
For us we could access it through a direct PC to camera connection via the crossover cable but the software also didn't work. Yet when we plugged it into the control system LV found it no problem so i would try LV and if it works just forget about the camera application....

Re: Problems with the Axis Camera
How do you know if your camera is recognized when plugged into the cRIO? And what program are you supposed to use to monitor and track various colors or shapes using the camera? I'm guessing if this program "works" then that means the cRIO recognizes your camera when connected to the cRIO.

Re: Problems with the Axis Camera
Hi,All.
We are having the same problem, someone knows how to resolve this? when I use the "setup axis camera", i get the message "Unable to log into the camera. Manually create a user with username "FRC" and password "FRC", or restore the camera to the factory settings and run this program again." thanks |

Re: Problems with the Axis Camera
My team cannot access the camera when it is plugged into the cRIO. We think it is ethernet port #2 that we actually cannot access.
We cannot seem to figure out how to enable the port. |

Re: Problems with the Axis Camera
You aren't trying to access the camera from your PC are you?
The camera isn't accessible from your PC when it's plugged into the cRIO. The network addresses aren't compatible. The camera can only be accessed from a program running on the cRIO itself. Just making sure what you're talking about... |
