Re: Carpet thickness?

On the flip side, how thick is the "REGOLITH" FRP material? I'm wondering how much "lip" there will be. The manual says the "REGOLITH" surface will be on top of the carpet, so there should be a small dropoff going from the "REGOLITH" to the carpet. The FRP material at Home Depot is .09", so perhaps it will be similar.

Re: Carpet thickness?

Yeah, I would expect a ~3/32" jump from the carpet to the regolith, and I would bet money that the carpet will be the same stuff they've been using since at least 2002 and I think before that.
