O crap, thank you, but we were wondering if we are allowed to solder wires to wires? not to like tetricks parts?? can we do that at least???

If you are talking about the drive motors. Read the Q and A. You are allowed to make new wires of any length with exactly the same size and color wires and a crimp on connection specified in the Q and A.

The FTC rules have been insanely strict about no soldering, heat shrinking etc, until the recent post about the encoder wires....

A: Yes. Make sure your splices are shielded and neat. See also previous question.

So... to me, "Splices" means soldering, and "shielded" means heat shrunk or something simmilar.

It seems that FTCgame2 is being much more reasonable than FTCgame4.
