The FIRST effect

Just how much effect does FIRST have on the search world?

For Orbit Balls, it appears that we are the driving factor
http://66.249.93.83/trends/viz?q=orb... &sort=0&sa=N

I am disappointed that we did not mange to make as much of a mark on the FRP results
http://66.249.93.83/trends?q=FRP&cta...ate=mtd&sort=0

Those where just two that came to mind.

Re: The FIRST effect

Another interesting trend that I found is that of searches for FIRST Robotics:

It peaks every build season.

Re: The FIRST effect

Look at the FIRST Effect for "FIRST Robotics"

The volume of searches for "FIRST Robotics" starts climbing on January 2nd, the day before kickoff! Neat-O!

You have to do some URL magic to get it to you.
like this:
http://66.249.93.83/trends?q=orbit+b...ate=mtd&sort=0

FRP when limited to US does show the correct trend.
