Jaguars working with 2.4 Ghz R/C
For those of you who are interested, the new Jaguar speed controllers will work with PWM input from a standard r/c radio receiver. I fly radio control airplanes and in the past have used my r/c airplane radio systems to quickly test drive the chassis without having to install the FIRST controller. It used to take special amplified PWM cables to adapt the Victors to the output level of the receiver. Because the Jaguar optically isolates the signal and GND the r/c receiver is able to oporate the Jaguar without this additional amplification.
