MaxBotix LV-MaxSonar-EZ4
I tried testing the MaxBotix LV-MaxSonar-EZ4 sensor from SparkFun. I was using the analog output and the waveform varied from near 0V to approximately 1V like a square wave. The pulse width was not constant. I'm not concerned with what the voltage level was on the high side, but as far as I understand, the analog voltage should be fairly constant.
I tried implementing the filter (100k resistor and 0.1uF capacitor) that MaxBotix recommends on their FAQ, but that only rounded the edges of the squar wave. In case you were wondering, I am positive that I'm connected to the analog output and not the PW output. Has anyone had this problem with this series of sensors, and if so, what did you do to fix it? |
