Coach on team #419, Rambots, from UMass Boston / BC High and NONE AT THE MOMENT! .In Reply to: Drill Motor Connections Posted by Alex on 2/13/2001 8:51 PM EST: : How are people connecting wires to the dril motor....we soldered them but they keep falling off.....any suggestions???? : Thanks : Alex : Team 375 i agree with joe, you should solder and make sure u are using solder with that flux stuff on it so that it sticks. try sanding the tips of the motor's terminals with sandpaper as well before soldering. if that doesnt work still, the female spade connectors (stake ons? is another term for it i think) and they plug in well. i'd be a little careful though just in case they fall for any reason at all. good luck. -anton |
