Vacaville Robotics Banner

This is a draft for our 2009 robotics season banner. Please give me any advice on what I could add to make this better in anyway =)

Make the number bigger. It would be hard to make out from across a stadium.

It looks pretty good. I like it, good job. The only thing I can see adding maybe, this is up to you, but if you have any major sponsors, you might want to add their company logos on there. Other wise it looks great.

Re: Vacaville Robotics Banner

In order to make the team # larger and more noticable (but not distract from the paw print) you might try swapping the FIRST logo and the Team #

It might also "balance" the banner a little more... as it seems a little "left heavy" to me.

I second that suggestion - our banner every year has our major sponsors logo's. The team couldn't exist with out our sponsors.

On a side note, it still cracks me up to see "Anonymous Donor" listed on our robot every year as a major sponsor.

I agree that some of your major sponsors should be listed. Otherwise, it looks excellent!

Re: Vacaville Robotics Banner

i don't agree with putting sponsors on the team banner, i do agree with posting them some way in our pits however. I don't agree mainly because I am on a team who can't afford to make a new banner every year, so if your team sponsors change from year to year, which ours does sometimes, you don't have to spend 100-200 bucks getting a nice 10'x3' vinyl banner made every year.

The banner looks sweet though, i agree with making the team numbers bigger and switching sides with the FIRST logo and your team numbers.

Re: Vacaville Robotics Banner

Here's an idea: See if you can get a printing company to sponsor you.

If you have vinyl printing on a banner of a strong material, the old stuff can easily be taken off & replaced with new art for your changing sponsors.
