Re: Outpost seat position

Awesome... thank you for this. Now, seeing as how the center of the hole is 37.25" off the ground, am I correct in figuring that not even Michael Phelps would be able to hand an empty cell through the hole while buckled into the seat? |

To note, I'm fairly average size, and my shoulder to fingertip length is 33". I can lean forward more than 4" easily with just a seatbelt on. Wetzel |

Re: Outpost seat position
I would hope they are positioning the seat based on the person using it. That may be why there is no specification on the seat from the wall.
Sitting in the seat Indian-style, your knees should not be touching the wall, but yet you are close enough to use the tongs to pass a ball to the robot through the opening. Simple geometry of the human physique states the outstretched arms from finger tip to finger tip equals a person's height. Half of that will be in the lower extremity. If you are shorter than than the norm, you will be sitting a little closer than somebody 6'6". The intent is probably that everyone will have the same ability at the hole through the wall, but I think taller individuals would have a slight advantage throwing them over the wall. |

Re: Outpost seat position
There are no "tongs" in the outpost. The Nifty Nabber "grabbers" are installed in the fueling stations.
