All i have to say is sweet, did you guys get the 360 controller working with the new 09 controller or has anyone? Is it not supported?

I believe that somewhere in the control system files it says that xbox 360 controllers will not work because you need some sort of special driver for it(?).

We used a 360 controller to drive, the other controller was for the elevator

Unfortunately, a 360 controller will not work this year. Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom, decided to go against the industry standards and created their controller in such a way that it requires special drivers to work on anything other than an xBox. if you plug it into your computer, you have to download and install the drivers for it.

Likewise, NI, in their infinite wisdom, implemented the OI this year with only 1 set of drivers - those for the industry standard. Sure, they captured 90%+ of USB controllers out there, but it means the xBox controller is no longer an option. Oh well, we've gotta find something else this year!

ya that controller was for the last year we played the game...this year we unfortunatly saw that we could not use the xbox controller....bummer!!

Gosh I loved driving with tat xbox controller. . . it made my older brother proud that his little sister could use an xbox controller to beat other people with a robot!
