Lunacy Scrimmage in CHICAGO - Feb 7, 2009
The Chicago Knights (FRC #1739) will host a pre-competition scrimmage for the 2009 FIRST Robotics Competition game - Lunacy - on Saturday, February 7, 2009. The scrimmage, played on a full-size playing field, will allow attending teams the opportunity to put their robot through its paces early enough to make meaningful adjustments before the robot ships 10 days later!
The scrimmage will feature timed matches similar to the practice matches at official competition events. There will be plenty of support on hand for teams who need help with their robot. We have 3 options for venues (all in the City of Chicago) of varying sizes. Please indicate your interest in attending by Sunday, January 18th so we can secure the right sized venue.
This is a great opportunity for teams in and around Chicago and Northwest Indiana, and ANYONE is welcome.
Please express your interest in the event to me in this thread or a Private Message, and I will forward your information to the Event's Organizer, Jackie Moore.
Good Luck with Build Season, and we look forward to seeing interested teams on Feb. 7, 2009!
