[FTC]: Help requested, the NXT is not showing the battery as being connected.
We have had this problem with two different robots now. The 10 cell Orion is not being showed as connected on the Lego NTX. This makes it so that our program is not allowed to run. Any insite or help would be gladly apreciated. Thanks

Re: [FTC]: Help requested, the NXT is not showing the battery as being connected.
Double check that all of your wiring is correct. Check to see that the fuse in the battery is good. Use a voltmeter to measure the voltage on the motor controllers to make sure you are getting 12V nominal (13-14 actual). Is your battery charged?

Also check to make sure that your motor controller is plugged into Sensor Port 1 on the NXT. If you are using ROBOTC, download the latest version (1.46 as of now). One last thing to do is to scan the forums on www.robotc.net. I recall seeing some discussions about low voltage and other issues with the 12VDC battery earlier in the season.
Good luck |
