Hey guys,
In labview, when I run the first robotics default program, it has a non broken arrow, yet when it runs it outputs the error that it "can't find the nirio device in the digitial module". It tells me to use MAX to find the device location but I have no idea what MAX is and a windows search doesn't find nirio_device_open.vi The other (maybe the same) issue is the DIO module function which I'm guessing is the module selector. Regardless of the module selected the program won't complete without an error. Trying to view the block diagram of the DIO selector asks us for a password, and we're not sure how it works in general. The last thing is that we're not actually connected to a robot on the other end, and I think it might just be looking for a robot that isn't there. Any help or explainations would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Nirio_device_open not found.
That sounds like a good diagnosis. You can't run a cRIO program without a cRIO.
