Texures

Student on team #565 from Hodson Vo-Teck and Nasa and Gore.
i am haveing a problem with the textures for max when ever i go to put texturs on max frezes and i have to shut down the program and i have to restart it back up in order to get it to work can anyboby help me i would rellly apreshate it if any one could help me thank you
