Gearbox selection
Hi all,
I'm looking for some planetary-type gearboxes at a reasonable cost, and I'm considering using the 2007-KOP gearboxes. However, I heard that there were some issues with these (stripping gears...???), and then those issues were corrected. Anyone here know the validity of this, and if there's an easy way to identify the corrected version? Also, is the correction something easy to do, with easily available parts (perhaps swap some gears to metal, etc)? Cheers, -Neil. |
