I realize many of you on robotics teams have your own personal twitter accounts, however we at team 1515 would like to encourage teams to create twitters so that we can create a network of FRC teams on twitter. It would be great to have hundreds of teams giving updates on how they are doing, and interacting. We could have teams from all corners of the earth discussing first and telling people how they are doing, and I think that would be phenominal. So on behalf of team 1515, I would like to encourage teams to make team twitters so that we can be able to communicate with teams all over the world.
Once you sign up please post your accounts so that other teams can follow you guys. Thanks! Ben H MorTorq Team 1515 Follow us here: http://www.twitter.com/bhrobotics1515 Last edited by bendh18 : 20-01-2009 at 00:53. |

Re: Twitter & FRC
Wow, I was going to create a thread, but you beat me to the punch!
![]() I also encourage someone on each team to create a team's account. I love the fact that you can customize the background of your profile, so you can place your team logo/colors on it. Very simple, requires no knowledge of crazy HTML or managing complex groups (MySpace and Facebook, respectively). In fact, not to hi-jack your thread, but I think we should post all of our team's social-networking links. Try to expand to reach as many people as possible.
