Re: pic: What on earth happened? (or what on the moon??)
I didn't know computer mice had whiskers these days! Why back in my day, all we had were punchcards, mountains of them, and we walked through them in the snow, uphill both ways, barefoot, and we liked it! Then we got these here newfangled "mice" that allowed us to point, click, and if you were lucky, it did something you wanted! Now they have whiskers! What next, a cat to chase them?

Re: pic: What on earth happened? (or what on the moon??)
Actually the mouse is being used to automate the production of nearly 100 orbit balls in Rolling Thunder colors for the Rochester Rally. One wire is hooked up to each strip of the ball and with one click of the mouse the weaving begins! Moments later a completed ball appears!
Sigh. Don't I wish!?! ![]() |

Caption: "Look at it this way: At least they didn't prototype this with a live mouse first..."
Also, to EricH, ala the four yorkshire men: Luxury! In my day, mice were made of lead and had one button, if you were lucky. You had to duct tape your hand to them to use them, and the aluminum wiring kept them at a toasty 130°F the entire time. The resolution was so poor that to get the pointer across the screen, you had to drag the mouse from one side of the room to the other. And if you moved the pointer off the screen, it'd electrocute you for a warnin'. |

I always wondered what would happen if you planted a mouse in the ground..

Re: pic: What on earth happened? (or what on the moon??)
After starting the quadruple bypass on the mouse, pre-meal, The surgeon realized he didn't know what went where, when he came back from lunch.

Re: pic: What on earth happened? (or what on the moon??)
Once the mouse realized the only way to become more important than the keyboard was to completely disable it, it attacked.
Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. |

Re: pic: What on earth happened? (or what on the moon??)
Too funny
I will take submissions until February 2nd, and will have my team vote on the 3rd! The winner will receive the orbit ball after the Rally (so either at an event or in the mail). |

Isn't that what all computer mice look like?

caption:The ultimate dongle switch, you have to hold down the button to have the robot enabled, but when you let go poof it is off, good if your driver faints, or if you like poking people in the side and watching them decide between punching you or going back to what they were doing.
