Yes, we started a new project using the basic framework. We also reinstalled Labview to make sure that we installed everything.

Go to Start/All programs and open the National Instruments node. Select and run "NI License Manager". Expand Local Licenses, Labview 8.5.1, Development System. Is the "First Robotics Competition" box filled in yellow? It should be. If not, double click it and follow the instructions. You'll need the License number that came with your original disks. This should re-enable the "Real Time" build option. |

This might seem weird, but the build stand alone application option shows up fine on an xp machine, but not the vista machine. On the vista machine it looks like everything is activated.
