Hey, watch it. I am trying to deny we are in week 4!!!

My beautiful daughter got nailed right between the eyes with an errant orbit ball during human player tryouts - it was our first blood-letting of the season

I wasn't there when it happened and I told my daughter that the girl who did it must have felt really bad. Apparently "she got over it pretty fast, Mom. It's no big deal." These girls of FIRST are so amazing.

Glad to hear that your daughter was okay. These examples remind us all that what we do on FIRST teams everyday has inherent dangers. As the stress levels build over the next few weeks, let's all help others on our teams be safe.

Not to worry. There is still a good deal of time left. Think about it. It's only January! It's not even February left. And once we hit February, there are 16 days before ship day.

No need to be nervous. Keep making progress and moving forward.
