Last year one of our programmer's birthday was right on the weekend of the VCU regional... we had cake and Dr. Pepper in the hotel.

I think that at least half of bacon has birthdays during build. We eat dinner together every night so we make sure there is cake and we sing. One year our driver got a cake with the CAD drawing of the robot on it. That was neat. But I think we eat cake at least 2 times a week!!

Mine was the kickoff date. I spent it enjoying the kickoff. That was probably the best way I could ever think of to spend it.

My birthday and one of the other students on our team share the same birthday of Jan. 29th.
our parents plan that we have dinner at school everyday we stay durning build season. the other students parents picked the 29th as their day for dinner and planed with my mom to surprise* me at school with a cake toward the end of dinner. (*it was a surprise because outside of school and FIRST we own a personal business that takes up the rest of our time.) What a way to turn 18.....
