Exclamation Lab View = big headache

Hello, I am on team 1510 and we have been programming with labview. Yesterday, an error popped up, it was titled "Deployment Error and Warning Resolution".
The conflict message is "Connection failed. The network address might be invalid or the target is not responding."
The weird thing is that the joy sticks we have connected work with the programs. The mentor is baffled and I haven't found a referance for it yet. Any ideas would be very apreciated before I start shaking the laptop till the problem goes way or it breaks.

Re: Lab View = big headache

Does hitting the white arrow (without full deployment) work?

The program is the unbroken white arrow if that is what you mean, no it doesn't work with a broken arrow.

Does the back of the LinkSys router have anything plugged into the WAN port?
It shouldn't.

i know it may seem blatantly obvious, but have you tried unplugging everything [DS, Battery, router] and then replugging it in?

and as far as the joysticks still working, its because [i'm guessing] there's a program already deployed [downloaded and set to autorun] and its running that program. also, check the IP on the project.

i'm currently on AIM so if you still need help message me [s/n below]

We have tried all of those things and the IP address seems ok.

Mind saying what the problem was so that people searching with a similar problem will be able to get it working?

Re: Lab View = big headache

So yesterday I installed the most recent labview update, and I think I broke labview.
There is a little ! error thing next to "FRC Robot Boot-up Deplyoment" and it just says "the plug-in is not installed on this computer" when I try to use this function.
What did I do???? Any help would be incredibly awesome

P.S. I already tried re-installing the stuff on the DVDs that came with the kit of parts, as well as the most recent update

Direct connection between what? The computer and the cRio? The DS and the cRio? I'm pretty sure the driver station has no DHCP, which I think is required to connect to the cRio, and Windows doesn't either. The router is there because it knows how to handle DHCP requests and can connect several devices together.
