Coach on team #639, Red B^2, from Ithaca High School and Cornell University. In Reply to: Team Update #7 is out! Posted by Anton Abaya on 02/24/2001 3:19 AM EST: With this change in the rules, how does everyone thing strategy will be affected? It seems to me that FIRST should have kept with what they originally decided. Now, teams like Wildstang, who designed robots specifically to help allies, are left pondering what their robots are good for. On the other hand, I personally like the change a lot! Patrick : Apparently FIRST thought that this whole big alliance thing was a bad idea and so they decided that the 2v2 game was much better. : I cant wait! : Here's the link to the update: : http://www2.usfirst.org/2k1comp/team-updates/tmup6.pdf : -anton |
