Re: We need orbit balls
there are probably none left. we made our own because we didnt go buy them right away after the kickoff. look for the instructions on making the gus ball
they are a pretty good match depending on what you use for the plastic. we used delrin plastic but the directions called for polycarbonate. |

Re: We need orbit balls
If 522 wants to drop over to North Brunswick on Friday afternoons in the next few weeks to drive around our dance floor and work with our orbit balls you are certainly welcome to. We are less than an hour away.
Just e-mail me to let me know your plans. WC |

Re: We need orbit balls
There seems to be limited supplies of orbit balls left, but here is a List of Stores who might still have balls in stock. Also FIRST was offering to sell one set of 3 balls for 27.00 dollars to each team. Here is the link for that Game Pieces. Just looking at this link a second ago they are sold out, but may have some available later on.

Re: We need orbit balls
You folks might want to check this out
http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...192#post813192 Parents of a Team 980 student member have produced a kit for assembling ten, high-quality, durable Lunacy Game balls at ~$125 (shipping included) for on-line sale to FIRST teams: Lunacy Game Balls - The Complete Kit The professionally manufactured kit includes 60 pre-cut lexan strips, 60 sown spandex fabric tubes (30 ea. orange and purple), super-strength adhesive patches and tape for fastening the plastic strips, and simple instructions for assembling the balls. It's way easier to get them here than Wal-Mart b/c they've been discontinued. Hope this helps! |

Re: We need orbit balls
If you do find them, get quite a few. They break easily and you will want some spares.
