Practice Fields in West Michigan

Hello,

I am a member of Team 858 in Wyoming, Michigan. Our team is wondering if there are any nearby finished practice fields in which we might be able to use.

Thanks

Re: Practice Fields in West Michigan

Check with Team 74 in Holland. We were forwarded the following:

Hope your build season is going well.

Team 74 has a playing field available for any team that would like to practice. This would be a good opportunity for drivers and human players to practice and get a feel for the distance of the objects. Our facility also has high ceilings for throwing.

Thanks to the help of Team 107 we are able to cover the entire playing field with the FPR material. We have 2 robot trailers and 12 orbit balls available. We are asking that if you have any orbit balls to bring them along with you. Please mark your orbit balls with your team number.

Times that are available are Friday evenings as well as Saturday Afternoons from 2pm to 7pm. The field is also available on Sunday afternoon. If you would like to use the field please email me with your time preference. If you have a need to use the field during the week please contact me on my cell listed below.

Our facility is located at near M-40 and I-196 on the south side of Holland.

Directions to our facility can be found on our website:

Good Luck.

Code Red robotics which is pretty close to you has a largish amount of regolith, you can talk to them, when we were there we talked to them about maybe getting a bunch of teams to bring their regolith and orbit balls and have a little scrimmage before the ship.

Re: Practice Fields in West Michigan

would the holland teams be interested in a couple of teams coming before ship and having a little scrimmage, 2075 would possibly be interested depending on the time our robot is finished?

I am sure we could get other teams to join in, We have 2 trailers also, just giving you something to think about. ill PM you about it.
