Go to Post I don't really care that the best on Curie may or may not be better than Newton, since we're going to spend the rest of the offseason discussing it no matter how the decision fell. - Jessica Boucher [more]

utc regionals info

Engineer on team #237, sie h2o bots, from Watertown high school ct and sieman co.

Well the first part of the game is over and with four games under our belt we are doing very well all things considered.
As the games got started the scores hovered around 80 to 120. as teams got used to the games and got into the middle of the day the scores started to rise. Our team in the morning had an amazing 2nd game and scored a whopping 328 points, That score was not beaten untill mid afternoon. we started out 47th and by the third game we were #1, as of this moment we are ranked 13th but we have only played 4 games. Many of the other teams ahead of us have played 5 and 6 games.
There are only two ramp bots in Hartford and both were working well, I believe that ramp bots are a great addition to any teams alliance and will be in high demand.
Well tomorrow is another day and luck has a nasty habit of turning on even the best so im off to bed.
Good night and good luck to all.

You can't forget team 69. From the video I've seen, and from what I've heard, they're an excellent rampbot. Seeing them go under the bar at full speed is amazing. For our sake (and team 69, and the other rampbots out there that I'm not aware of) I hope the other teams realize how valuable a rampbot can be as an alliance partner.

Definitely--they are a great asset. I am not trying to be arrogant, just trying to explain.

1. BECOME THE RAMP (making goal balancing MUCH easier)
2. Can manipulate the ramp (definitely a plus)

That is what they do best, but many (like ours) have many secondary features making themselves valuable assets to any alliance.
