This was posted on the general forum but we have yet to get receive any replies.
This was the post: Stuypulse, Team 694, invites you to a team social at Chelsea Piers Thursday, March 5 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. There will be ice skating, pizza, and a party! Entrance will be $20 for each person. We would like to know who would be interested in coming, so if you are or have any questions, please respond to this thread or email us at events@stuypulse. Its actually quite close. 10 blocks downtown (about 1/2 mile for those of you not from NY. I am almost positive that there is a public bus that goes from the Javits Center down to Chelsea Piers.

In memory of Tony Paxton, a great champion of FIRST in NYC and a dedicated volunteer at the NJ Regional and NYC Regional, the NYC volunteers are collecting Team T-shirts to make a special quilt in honor of Tony.
If you wish to contribute, please drop your Team T-shirts off with Thea at the PIT Admin Desk and she will sew the shirts together. The quilt will be presented to the Tony’s family. |
