FIRST and OCCRA...
Is OCCRA officially associated with FIRST?
The reason I'm asking is we are considering putting FIRST logo's on our robot. Would this be discouraged, encouraged, don't care?

This isn't official, but OCCRA is technically not affiliated with FIRST. Many teams from OCCRA also participate in FIRST, and we use many of the same supplies, but there is no official connection.

The Logo
As Jeff stated, there is no affiliation between OCCRA and FIRST (but they dovetail nicely, don't they?); the only OCCRA regulation regarding logos is that teams may not display corporate logos on anything that is identified with them (robot, uniform...etc.); OCCRA has ordered large banners thanking the corporate supporters and will recognize them in all programs...etc., but not as team supporters. The FIRST logo won't be a problem for OCCRA, but FIRST has some guidelines for the use of their logo: you should check with them. You know, we do have an OCCRA logo that's pretty slick...
