can we use our crate? (was: Another question)

Hey guys, another question from your friendly neighborhood rookie. Can we use the crate after we unpack it as a storage in the pit?nI don't see abything specific about it in the manual. Thanks in advance.

Yes, but do remember that it will take up space.

For the last couple of years we've designed out crate to open up and be a workbench, storage area, and display within our pits. Just remember that pits can be as small as 8'x8' and as large as 10'x10'. So design accordingly.

Re: can we use our crate? (was: Another question)

our crate opens up into a shop, with pegboard on 2 walls, and whiteboard on the other two.

when i was on another team, we did the same, and it proved extremely useful.

if you search around, there are several teams with instructions online.

Re: can we use our crate? (was: Another question)

Our crate becomes pit walls and robot cart.

The other benefit of using your crate in your pit is you don't have to wait for it to be delivered back to your pit for pack up.

Just remember to design something that fully loaded doesnt way over the limit. it would be quite a pain to have to reload
