Go to Post FIRST isn't about building robots. I know. But I also know that Inspiration comes in a lot of flavors and I, for one, believe it is a lot easier to inspire my kids when we set "playing after lunch on Saturday" as a worthy team goal. - Joe Johnson [more]

Backup for LabView

Me and my team had a problem of not succeeding to backup our Labview Project, and every time we Copy/Pasted the VIs to a USB memory stick, it won't work on another computer.
Can anyone help me please? thanks.

Re: Backup for LabView

Did you copy the entire directory structure? Are there any sub-vi's in other directories? And lastly, I presume you have another copy of the Labview for FRC on the other computer.

Re: Backup for LabView

There are some pretty automated ways of doing a source distribution from a build spec in the project, but I think what you may find useful is to click on the tab in the project. This will show you the disk view of your files. You may also want to turn on the file path column in the view menu. This will help you locate your source files which you may be linking to.
