Balancing Pads

Our robot has three wheels this year and we've got a lot of tipping. We were wondering if the rules permitted a sort of low friction balancing pad to keep our robot from tipping over.

We have frame edges that touch the ground when it tips and with the balancing pad sitting slightly above the floor it will prevent the edges of the frame from destroying the field. We aren't looking for an advantage, just a way to keep our robot from causing destruction.

Re: Balancing Pads

We've only got 1 1/2 days until ship. We only have ONE extra. However, we did consider it and it would be best, just no time.

there's always enough time, you just have to stop talking about it and get it done

One of the questions answered by Q&A... http://forums.usfirst.org/showthread.php?t=11255

Better use that other rover wheel.
