Long Island Update

Posted by Michael "Special K" Krass at 03/08/2001 10:56 PM EST

Other on team #271, Mechanical Marauders, from Bay Shore High School and Verizon.

Good evening everyone. . . my first update is up! I'm sorry it's so late, but I got caught up in some other things. I'll see what I can do to get it up earlier tomorrow night.

Anyway, there's some pictures of the 'bots there, with more to come. I had some trouble with my camera. Check under 'matches' for my notes regarding today's practice rounds.

Also, one thing of note that I forgot to mention. It seems as if Yellow Freight lost Team 287's robot somewhere bewteen UTC and Long Island. Luckily, it arrived by 3pm today, and they were able to get in two practice rounds. . .

Anyway, the link is http://www.geocities.com/longislandfirst/

And, as before, e-mail me with questions at wdichernabog@yahoo.com

~ Michael, who's exhausted, but looking forward to a good day tomorrow.
