Go to Post last year I wanted to electrically charge our frame, then cover the whole bot in tape and say it was for insulating purposes. Then I settled down and read the rule book. - russell [more]

Re: 25 Chain Part

The usual approach to doing chain is to use the Roller Chain Design Accelerator. In an assembly, click on "Assembly Panel" on the left side of the screen and select Design Accelerator, then click on the arrow next to V-Belts and click Roller Chain. You can then drop down on chain type and select ANSI B29.1 25 Pitch chain in the category labelled "ASME B29.1 Precision power transmission bush chains," it's in the upper left on my installation. You'll then need to specify design constraints that allow Inventor to create a custom length of the right length. For more details on this, click the help icon in the lower left of the chains window, or consult the tutorials on FIRSTbase. There also appears to be a tuturial video available on the Autodesk site.

Good luck,
--Ryan
