Your robot looks great, I love the shape of your whole shooter assembly. The swerve drive looks nice, too! Is it true that you guys won't be going to AZ this year? If so then I won't have a chance to admire your robot in person... (and it would look great sitting next to 60; matching colors and beautiful machined parts)

yes, unfortunately the new week AZ regenal is put in conflicts with the schools spring break, so most of the team would not be in town. So this year San Diego--but hopefully some students in town and defenently myself will go up there on saterday at least to check it all out. First time in history of regenal were not in it, makes me sad..

Wow, it looks like a lot of design and engineering time went into this robot. Excellent craftsmanship as well. Hopefully I can catch a glimpse of it in Atlanta.

Re: pic: CRUSH 1011 Lunacy machine "Zeek" (with swerve module detail)

entire lower half of the robot was made in cad(with the exception of the steering motors being off an inch or 2 due to belt issues)
this is about the 4.5 week progress picture. i have the cad files on me now, but 09 inventor is still downloading.

ill have to go back and recolor everything correctly and redo a better render.
maybe get the upper half of the robot modeled as well, just for shiggles.

thats wheel design v.14 a lot of thought went into this new swerve drive. cut the weight of the wheels by a significant amount, made them skinnier, shorter, include the motor in the assembly, and prettier than our original swerve drive.
