well I'd be able to move around the robot in that crate better than you could move it around the field last year.

Maybe I should clarify. I don't mean necessarily that people didn't hang out together much while competing. Just that when they were sitting in the stands they were very segregated. Even the four other teams staying in the same hotel didn't talk to anyone else except maybe in the elevator. That is except for 122. I even danced in a spotlight at the competition with my silver wig and no one else would dance with me. Someone did toss me a cardboard paw print though.

Teams at UTC were quite friendly except for some at the team party cuz they didn't want to leave their group to dance w/a couple Rambots lol. But I think thats where most people meet new people....at the team party. Hey I'm not shy and I'll go up and try to talk to anyone... so look for the Rambots..we're always looking to meet new people, but we also come with a warning label too, jk.

Theres alot of teams staying in the Kissimmee area especially around Old Town, whether your down the street or with in driving distance...I say we should all get together and hang out, even though we're not familiar with each other it could be fun, just think about it...if your interested email me or something!

The only thing I know about where my team is staying is that the name of the hotel is Larsen's Inn or something simmilar. Thanks for the invite though, I may just take you up on that. It all depends on the mood my team is in and the mentors' moods. Hope to see you there.

I think the friendliness level of the teams is more an aspect of which regional you go to. As a case in point, I managed to get traded to the X-cats and a few of them kept dragging me around at Rutgets (my team traded me for a bead necklace -- except they gave the bead necklace to the X-Cats....). We also were hanging out with different teams at night at the hotel which was fairly cool. My bet as to why the VCU regional teams weren't as friendly is because there were a lot of rookies. Now I have nothing against rookies but with all the stress and newness involved with being a rookie, teams don't know to be friendly. I also don't think VCU is the best facility to get people to interact. And if you really want someone to talk to at VCU, bug my old team (7).

Matt who got back from Rutgers at 1:30 AM last night....
