Has anyone thought about this?
I haven't been keeping up with the posts on this forum, so I don't know if this has been mentioned yet....
I've heard several people express their concern over a team winning multiple regionals and/or regional Chairman's/technical awards, stating that such a team would take away opportunities for other teams to automatically qualify for the Championship Event. Well, think of it this way. If several teams do extremely well at their regionals, winning multiple competitions and awards, would this not REDUCE the number of teams in the pool of 2002 automatic qualifiers, therefore allowing MORE teams on the Nationals waiting list to register for the event? Am I incorrect in assuming this? -- Travis
