Regional Winners

The first week of regionals is done, and that means the first 3-5 regional animation winners have been announced. At the Greater Kansas City Regional, Team 935 won. Their topic was a spider web. The part where they showed the individual threads coming into a strong rope was cool and I imagine it might have taken a few trys to get it looking just right.

Post the winners of other regionals as they are announced.

Team 116 won their eighth regional AVA in the past seven years at the DC regional.

Re: Regional Winners

haha i was wondering the same thing... but i think you can submit for that award at more than one regional... so maybe they won it at two separate regionals one year... thats just a guess tho, so don't take my word on it...

Prior to 2007, teams were eligible to win the Autodesk Visualization Award at every regional they attended. 116 won both the Chesapeake and VCU regional AVAs in 2004.
