: We can start complaining at RealPlayer for everytime it crashes out, rebuffers while we're watching.. we can complain about people on the net for causing 'net congestion'
real player is terrible. i was trying to watch the direct feed from the so-cal regional after the nasa webcast cut out, and all i got was some muffled background noise, half a still screen of some people's feet, and half a screen of the stands above the arena. and all for about ten minutes... then it just quit and said it couldn't find the URL that it was supposedly playing... but it didn't give me any net congestion or buffering (or re-buffering) errors!
about NASA, yes, their primary function, and NASA-TV's primary goal is space exploration. and they most likely had an automated switch at a certain time. the fact that there was a tie-breaker at the so-cal regional just extended the time past the time limit. i'm sure if someone had been monitoring it they would have let it run for two more minutes, but what ya gonna do?
