Go to Post I think FIRST is probably close to the farthest you can get from 'gangsta', outscored only by the math team. - Tom Bottiglieri [more]

J&J Regionals Recognitions from Team 191

Posted by Ellery at 03/18/2001 9:48 AM EST

Engineer on team #191, X-CATS, from Joseph C. Wilson High School, Rochester NY and Xerox Corporation.

On behalf of the X-CATS I would like to thank our Alliance Partners (Teams 303, 365, 103, & 145) and Congratualtions to Teams (175,75, 95,133 & 56) for making this weekend's competition extremely exciting. The finals were as close as it gets... you can't ask for anything more than a tiebreaker of only 1.6 averge points difference at scores that were constantly raised 400+.

Also we were so close to beating the all time high score of 620 points guys with 608 and amazingly it was on our first match of the competition.

Once again Congratulations to all and we'll continue to raise the bar at Nationals! See you there!

BTW - it was a pleasure to finally meet some of you Forum participants in person!
And what an awesome Display from the Rochester NY teams that were there (MAK 211 & Tigerbolt 73)we salute you!

Ellery
