Can you get the percent of compression you have?

Is it possible to get the amount of compression in the compressor in labview?
Answer fast please.

Re: Can you get the percent of compression you have?

Are you asking how to determine in software the amount of pressure in your pneumatics system? If so, you'd need to have a sensor called an analog pressure transducer, which you would screw into the pneumatics and wire into the analog breakout, and that would provide a variable reading proportional to the pressure in your system. Alternatively, you can just read from the pressure switch, but that will only tell you if you've reached the cutoff pressure (~115psi).

Re: Can you get the percent of compression you have?

A pressure transducer would fit the bill. Understand that there is gauge pressure and absolute.

Re: Can you get the percent of compression you have?

Gauge pressure means 'relative to local atmospheric pressure' while absolute means 'relative to vacuum'. Either is fine for this purpose, but gauge pressure is what FRC is looking at (60 PSI).
