A couple of years ago someone came up to a girl on our team and asked her if she wanted to see his tether . I thought it was funny , but apparently she didn't.

Re: girls: what's the lamest pickup line u've got from a guy at robotics comp?

I was volunteering at the FTC Championship at CSUN, recently, and there was a wrap party. There was the coolest human foose ball inflatable toy, which was really fun. As soon as I got out, I was still in a soccer playing mood. I took the soccer ball and asked someone if I could score on him. I didn't notice what I said until a couple seconds later. I started laughing and he gave me a really weird look. Thing is, I didn't mean it to be any type of sexual innuendo.. ahh w.e. But I laughed sooo hard after.

Funniest pick up line:
Did you just fart?
No.
Because you blew me away.

(If someone came up to me and said that, I would give that person the biggest hug for having a sense of humor)

I'm usaly in the stands programming during the regionals, so girls tend to not talk to me. Oh well. That's fine with me.

Re: girls: what's the lamest pickup line u've got from a guy at robotics comp?

My friend and I were wondering how many past FIRST games could have really bad sexual innuendos (this is what we do when we get bored scouting). I thought Lunacy would be free from those.

Then he came up with this...

"Will you dump your payload into my trailer?"

Rose and I were hit on by some guys going to the neighboring convention at LA. We managed a syncornized eyeroll and walked away.

I dont know if this counts as a pick-up line, but a guy said I had small feet and gave me a foot massage then proceeded to force his phone into my hands for my digits
