There are definitely extensive requirements. You MUST have a middle initial/name, for instance... sorry those of you with only two. And knowing all that information about your old team... I'm lucky my old team still exists, I was able to look it up. You apparenly can't register if that isn't the case, or otherwise you should make some educated guesses.

My guess is that they just flagged way too many fields (if not all of them) unintentionally as mandatory. They will likely sort it out in the near future, especially with reports from users.
