The max RPM for the CIM motors running under no load is approximately 5300rpm. This will be lower under load, and your actual speed will vary depending on your exact set-up and how you code your drive.

Especially given the low traction surface and the chance for your wheels to "spin out" if you surpass the static friction, I'd highly suggest trying to create a closed loop system if at all possible.
