Does anyone have stats about robots falling over?

Has anyone kept track of how often robots fall over? I'm not looking for how often specific robots fall, but how often a robot falls over in general. Every 3 matches, every 5, 6, 7? Does anybody have data to prove this? What are your guesses based on watching the rounds? I spent too much time in the pit working on the bot to make an educated guess.

As far as I can remember, we have never had a robot fall over in one of our matches and we've been to 2 regionals. I've seen it happen before though so I'm surprised its never happened to one of our partners.

......that need to be recalculated because of the new regional data, but before this last grouping of regionals, the stats were.......

*All these stats apply to are non-finals matches where a big ball was sucessfully scored*

National average score: 136.23, where anything over 400 is considered an outlier (st. dev of 104.9, if you know what Im talking about)

National average time remaining: .2949 seconds, where anything over a minute is an outlier (st. dev of .254)

Averages, broken up by regionals:

Note: mean score is the first number, one in paranthesis is the st. dev (for those who care)

VCU: Score - 83.3 (40) Time - .29 (.32)
LI: Score - 112.4 (50) Time - .50 (.33)
West Mich: Score - 171.89 (146) Time - .18 (.14)
Lone Star: Score - 130.6 (92) Time - .30 (.26)
NYC: Score - 84.5 (53) Time - .38 (.27)
J&J: Score - 178.8 (141) Time - .27 (.21)
SoCal: Score - 128.7 (79) Time - .8 (.21)
UTC: Score - 143.3 (101) Time - .30 (.23)
KSC: Score - 127.6 (79) Time - .23 (.19)

Disclaimer: I am merely a Statistics student testing what I've learned, so if I'm wrong, dont flame me too bad

More to come later, including the re-calculated averages.

Are all those times really so low? Those are only a few tenths fo a second? That would seem to mean that very few people are stopping the clock within a multiplier. Most of our matches are done in :59 or 1:29 and rarely over 1:44. . .

Well, it all depends on what your robot does. These stats are specifically for matches where at least one big ball was scored successfully.

Plus, Im not saying anything about your or any specific team (for now; I have frequency stats on who recieved the ball multiplier that I have to finish).

In 2 (or 3, not sure) of our 8 qualifying rounds at UTC robots fell over on the ramp...

I don't think i saw any robots fall over during the finals at UTC... someone correct me if i'm wrong though.

Well, my sister is forgetting the fact that we were still in the endzone we landed on a ball outside of the playing field... no part of our bot was touching the ground... some call it luck, i call it skill... i planned it that way... actually i didn't realize we were falling until the power was cut.

We may have "fallen Over" but we did not block the bridge or cause any harm to our allies
