First Tech Challenge Question

hi, i was wondering if our robotics team can buy a FTC kit of part without registering for the game? If so where can i buy the kit of part.

This is the metal portion of the Kit. This is what I think they give for the lego part. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the board that they use to drive the motors with. It's made by these people here but they don't seem to have it available to the general public.

The actual kit does not seem to be available from FIRST to the general public. Good luck.
