How many Teams go to States?

Hey, I am part of a Rookie team and I was wondering, how many teams go to states? Do you have to have a minimum number of points, or is it the top x?

64 of the 132 Michigan teams will go (about half). It is based on the total points earned at your first 2 district events. There exact point total for qualifying isn't known, but my estimate is around 40. The list of qualifying teams will be posted on the Sunday after the last week of districts (Mar 29).

Does anyone know how teams earn points for state?

We were a finalist in Lansing this last weekend, does anyone know how many points that is worth?

You would have gotten 2 points for being the 15th draft (3rd member of the # 2 alliance) & 16 points for being the 3rd member of the Finalist alliance.
