Major congrats to team 1557, 12 Volt Bolt, for winning the Chairman's Award. It was their 1st year submitting a Chairman's Essay. In addition to winning the Chairman's Award, MARS awarded them the Best Button Award for their button defining FIRST as "Fostering Insanity & Restlessness in Students and Teachers." 12 Volt Bolt is Mega Awesome.
Congrats to Swamp 179 for being seeded 7th, winning, and picking great partners. Congrats to 233, Pink Team, for winning the Regional and Engineering Inspiration, just like last year. The final matches between 79, 744, 1144 and 179, 1649, and 233 were amazing in that the first two matches were extremely lopsided victories, but the last match was so close. |
